Gualberto Besinaiz was a graduate of Del Mar and CCSU.  He received his master's degree in music from the University of North Texas. He was a dedicated band director for nineteen years and was referred to lovingly as "Mr. B" by his many students.  Mr. B passed away on July 13, 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer.
