Some school districts taylor school district mi are celebrating, others have to masturbation in high school head back to the drawing board.
A day after the special August 5th election, some local school districts are celebrating, while others are heading back to the drawing board.
Anthony Wayne got a split decision. The district's renewal levy passed, 65% to 35%.
But its additional levy went down by a slim margin, 49% to 51%. That levy would have raised $3 million a year for the schools.

Superintendent John Granger says this will now lead to larger class sizes and fewer courses offered.
In the Lake Local school district, voters passed a 5.63-mill levy, 62% to 38%.
Voters in Pike-Delta-York also passed the levy, by only one vote.
Liberty Center and Liberty Benton both have to go back to the drawing board.
Liberty Center voters failed the levy attempt, 55% to 45%.
Liberty Benton's levy failed by 11 votes.

PROPOSED INCOME TAX AND BOND ISSUE
A Majority Affirmative Vote is Necessary for Passage Shall the Arlington Local School District, Hancock County, Ohio be authorized to do both of the following:
1. Impose an annual income tax of 0.5% on georgia school rankings the school district income of individuals and of barrington high school estates, for a continuing period of time beginning January 1, 2009, for the purpose of PAYING PERMANENT IMPROVEMENTS?
2. Issue bonds for the purpose of CONSTRUCTING SCHOOL FACILITIES AND RENOVATING EXISTING SCHOOL FACILITIES UNDER THE OHIO SCHOOL FACILITIES COMMISSION CLASSROOM FACILITIES ASSISTANCE PROGRAM; FURNISHING AND EQUIPPING THE SAME; IMPROVING THE SITES THEREOF INCLUDING INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS RELATING THERETO; AND ACQUIRING LAND AND INTERESTS IN LAND AS NECESSARY IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; in the principal amount of $7,735,000 to be repaid annually over a maximum period of twenty-eight (28) years, and levy a property tax outside the ten mill limitation estimated by the County Auditor to average over the bond repayment period seven and six-tenths (7.6) mills for each one dollar of tax valuation, which amounts to seventy-six cents ($0.76) for each one hundred dollars of tax valuation, commencing in 2008, first due in calendar year 2009, to pay the annual debt charges on the bonds, and to pay debt charges on any notes issued in anticipation of those bonds?

Shall bonds be issued by the Liberty-Benton Local School District for the purpose of constructing, adding to, renovating, remodeling, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving school district buildings and facilities, including expanding and improving facilities as may be required for participation in the state of Ohio classroom facilities assistance program, and acquiring, improving and equipping their sites in the principal amount of $3,422,157 to be repaid annually over a maximum period of twenty-eight (28) years, and an annual levy of property taxes be made outside the ten mill limitation estimated by the penn foster career school county auditor to average over the repayment period of the bond issue one and four-tenths (1.4) mills for each one dollar of tax valuation, which amounts to fourteen cents ($0.14) for each one hundred dollars of tax valuation, commencing in 2008, first due in calendar year 2009, to pay the annual debt charges on the bonds, and to pay debt charges on any notes issued in anticipation of those bonds?
