Robert Burnard bought his family to
Adelaid, South Australia in
early 1840, barely three years after the colony was proclaimed. He worked as
a Limner (portrait painter) and several of his paintings are retained
by his descendents. |

Lived at Plympton.
Continued portrait painting and taught art.
