An it harm none, do what thou wilt.
Wicca is a polytheistic nature-based religion, which recognizes the Divine as represented by both female and male, the Triple Goddess and the Horned God.
It teaches that nature maintains a delicate balance of opposites to create a fully-functional whole.
A witch's actions are guided by the
Threefold Law and the Wiccan Rede.
The Witches' Voice
is an excellent source of pagan links and information, including
Wicca 101 articles to teach newcomers more about the basics of the Craft, descriptions of the many different pagan traditions, and wiccan sabbats (holy days).
Many witches are
self-taught and learn the Craft from books. However, in order to combat the negative stereotypes associated with witchcraft, most books have focused primarily on the "light" side of witchcraft, and have ignored the "dark", disrupting the balance that witches are taught to respect.
