The Studio's
My first recording experience was at 19... Fidelity went to the local music store recorded 4 songs on an 8 track.
Ever since then I have dreamed of being able to write, play and record my ideas at my own studio...
When Jen and I first married, a combinaion of space & technology made my dream a quasi-reality, and we created a comfortable creative studio/office out of a converted bedroom. Of course that would later give way to the nursery.
with subarctic, we rented a rehersal space that we both practiced in and recorded from,
NOW,
as the band grows and progresses and needs and finances change, bobbie and I have assembled an amazing assortment of gadgets and gizmo's.
we can record near professional quality sound, afford a nice place to play, and not even wake the neighbors
We've got some rough tracks, and yet another new singer . it's all on the way folks, like I used to say on the front page,
thought and art need expression...
