If not, you would think she was a demon. She has a real hot temper that can burn for a while. But in no way is she a hot head, it take alittle bit to really set off her temper. Inside she is simply a scared girl. Her head has been filled with how great marriage is and how she will meet the man of her dreams, marry and give herself only to him... then to find out she's a mage, that her first time will be with a probable stranger so that she can have magic has really got her rattled. So her first instinct now is to be guarded and snap at 'offenders'. She wasn't pampered, she had to do her own work, but she was very loved. Her mother would tell her of the day when she would meet her future husband, how great it would be. So she started looking forward to that day. Then, not long after her 14th birthday, a ring of (at the time) red blimishes started to appear around her neck. At first, it was a rash and they treated it. When that didn't work, it was a blimish and they hid it. Finally not long before her 16th birthday, it finished growing. It was a fire ring tattoo. The same day, Ember's bright green eyes turned a pure white, except for the pupil which remained black. Her mother and father were shocked at this, knowing it ment she was fire mage born. Fearing what could happen if her powers developed farther, she was quickly packed and taken to wait for the boat across from Salinis Isle-Mage Island. None of this is she happy about.
