Physical Description: Ketil is a fairly average 15 year old. He’s thin and lanky and looks like he’s all legs and arms but has a hefty appetite that does not match his thin frame. He has scattered freckles on his face, arms and legs but his large hands give away that he will eventually be a large man later on.
Personality: Somewhat mischievious but an all around good kid. His curiosity does get him into quite a bit of trouble but for some reason he never means to do any harm, it just happens that he is somewhat clumsy and tends to make a mess of things. He does know animals pretty well and enjoys farming. He likes to joke around and thinks that girls are somewhat silly right now.
Likes: Joking around, his father, his farm and being busy.
Dislikes: Being bored, his sister yelling at him and his new found Elemental Talent.
Fears: Never seeing his father or home again.
Brief History: Ketil was born to loving parents and has an elder sister by 10 winters that is constantly nagging at him to grow up. His mother died when he was 8 but his father tried to keep her memory alive and was a kind and gentle man though a very hard working farmer. Ketil grew very close to his father and his only ambition in life was to be like him and take over the Farm one day. Unfortunately, Ketil was out looking for a lost lamb one day when a very small bearded man sat down by him on a rock. The man said nothing but just watched Ketil very carefully then smile and touched the boy on the arm. Ketil awoke later that day with his father anxiously watching him. When Ketil revealed what had happened his father nodded and told him that the man was a Gnome. He also explained that Ketil’s mother was gifted with the Earth Element but because of the Mage ban, she quickly married him at a young age and lost her gift. Ketil wanted to deny this talent but his father explained that he was charged with something special and now that the school was reopened, he should follow his destiny. Ketil could not deny his father and with some sadness and also curiosity, they traveled to the nearest Port city to start his new life.
