With his background, he was able to become a low position advisor to the High Kings household but was only able to do that by spying and telling on another advisor in order to get the job. He has high hopes of becoming a Great Spiritual Advisor to the Kings Council but realized he must prove himself further and offered to reside at Salinas Isle and keep tabs on the goings-on of the Mages. The High Council ordered him to report on the school and the Mages themselves to ensure that another uprising would not happen. His distaste for magick made him an ideal candidate and he was sent off with the newly awakened Helms. |
