She is, what some call, a late bloomer. She is small and lithe with a creamy complexion that promises to be lucious when she gets older Personality: Spitfire is the best way to describe Ruby. As red blooded as her name, she has a quick temper and a faster fist. She is loyal to her friends, but can be one mean bitch if you get on her bad side. She can be sneaky, coniving and extremely back stabbing if the mood hits her. However, she can be loving if the mood hits her also, really .. it depends on what mood you catch her on. As a general rule, do not cross her. It seemed to be a stroke of luck that her hair just happened to be red. Ruby was the flame headed, green eye'd darling of her parents, spoiled with love and affection. She loved to play around her father's shop, and though her mother fretted that she would never be able to be cultivated to become a good wife, Ruby never lacked anything. Though taught the menial house wife tasks, she also learned the fine art of jewlery making and apprasal of jewels. Her father often teased her that it was her 'emerald eyes' that gave her such a talent at it. Perhaps it was the fact that she lost her emerald eyes that caused her father so much grief. But at the time of her first blood flow, Ruby woke up one morning to see gold staring at her where emerald was before. Shaking with fear she ran to her parents, desperately hoping that she was dreaming. Her father looked at her sadly and nodded to her mother, the two of them knowing that they would soon loose their precious jewel. Quietly explaining that Ruby's grandfather had been gifted with Earth Magick, they quickly moved to enroll her in the school. Ruby was furious, not wanting to leave her family or her home, but upon reaching the school, she was extremely excited to be a part of something that was new and alive, new people, new experiences and adventure! Saying a tearful goodbye to her parents she recieved an amulet of silver with an emerald embedded into it. A gift of emerald for her lost 'emerald eyes'.
