First Rites The Gifts manifest themselves in children during puberty. If these gifts are not acknowledged then they will be gone by the time the child becomes an adult through their first sexual experience. The First Rites are for those who are newly apprenticed and over the age of 16. They are visited by a mentor under the guise of complete anonymity and are awakened to adulthood through the means of magick and physical means. In order to protect the Gifts, every student must go through this first initiation into adulthood. |

Familiars Familiars such as horses, cats, dogs, birds, snakes, dolphins, or any such creature will make themselves known to their bond when the time is right. An immediate bond between Apprentice and Familiar will include the ability to feel each others pain, sense each others emotion and understand each others simple language. The Goddess will choose the time and bond for each apprentice. |

Mirror Struck When a Mage is held at bay and forced to gaze at their own reflection in a mirror gilded in Gold, the person holding the mirro can then crack the glass which entraps the Mage's Soul and Mind in the Mirror forever. These people are called Mirror Struck. If the glass is shattered, then it is near impossible for any Mage to be withdrawn. If the glass is only cracked, then the glass can be repaired and the Mage can then escape. If too much time has passed, the Mage's original body has long decayed and a fresh, newly dead body must be present for the Mage to enter into. Mages are very careful around glass mirrors and instead use highly polished silver for reflections. |
