Physical Description: Strong bodied, he is most commonly seen in nice clothing though never anything overly formal as a suit. More like a casual noble. He also has reading glasses which he hates to wear.
Personality: Tyler is good at his job, efficeint and completely unsocialable. He says exactly what he thinks and tends to not cushion anything with pretty words or white lies. Particularly he can be harsh when approached for his opinion on writing as that is his passion. Also a bit of a ladies man, he's most renown for sleeping with a woman for a one night stand then forgetting her name two days later. Those few who know him are also aware that he is a severe work aholic prone to staying up for days at a time when he's on a project and then literally collapsing sometime later into a sleep which he wont wake from for near a day.
Likes: Writing his stories, sleeping with women, working, tea (no sugar-ever) and seeing Rubero.
Dislikes: Kirah (the cheating punk), Chester (or matter of factly all the emotions and events that surrounded him), killing, boredom, being told what to do, romance stories, sugar and pushy lovers.
Fears: Ever being forced to confront Chester's spirit.
Brief History: Tyler was born to a human maid and her steward husband who was a Damphyr (half vampire) making him 1/4, not enough to endow him with powers persay, but it certainly affected his appearance and his preferences (such as he tends to be more alert at night then in day light). As he was raised to follow in his fathers footsteps they both died in a mysterious accident- he was never given many details save that a mage was involved. Being only 10 at the time he didn't grasp much more then that. However he did focus himself into becoming the steward his father had hoped he would one day be. To this effect he was taken in by a family friend: Chester Izawa and Chester's roommate Rubero Kalsti. Both men doted over the young man endlessly, and over time Tyler fell madly in love with Chester, seeing him as his idol and possibly more. This was both good at bad as Chester later revealed his lusting for young boys and when Tyler was 14 he raped him. Scared and panicked Tyler did the only thing he could think to do and attacked Chester with his tiny little fangs, draining him dry even while the older man was still inside of him. After Rubero came home to the scene and immediately knew what had happened, he also knew that little Tyler would never get over the scars the night left on him and in a way blamed himself. He finished raising the young Steward as best he could, always trying to help him over come his pain and be happy with others again. To this end he set him up with a date, a young women named Kirah. At first Tyler was pissed, trying to ditch the woman at every turn, finally he relented. They were a strange off-on couple but in the end he really started to love her. Of course by implying the end it didn't last, she dumped him for a man who promised to make her music (she was a pianist) famous. After this he gave up on finding meaning in love or relationships and views them as nothing but a waste of time. The only time he needs a lover is to fulfill his need for a lay- nothing more. He was recently hired to work at the new mage school and sees it as a shit load of work, which means he's happy with it.
