DARK-THROAT GOLDEN

This is a mutation of the Red Golden, it has been around over 100 years.  Both the male and female are darker.  We have found that this species is tamer then the Reds and are easier to hand feed.  Also, this mutation does breed true and they have a chick that is a dark chocolate with white spots.
