that the one we love,
knows our thoughts,
our needs and passion,
and how much we love them.
It is true that sometimes,
our actions show our feelings.
But there is much to,
the touch, the spoken word,
that brings to both,
the warmth and depth of feeling,
that we all so often need.
Sometimes we must be
lovingly reminded of love,
the quiet reassurance of a look of love,
or in a passing caress or touch;
or the heat of passion filled eyes,
which takes our breath away,
filling us with fire and desire;
or that soft whisper of the words,
"how I love you",
which recaptures the heart each time.
Share the knowledge,
of how much you think of them during the day,
that you can close your eyes and see them,
or at times catch a hint of their scent,
or something happens to make you think of them
bringing to mind a soft memory of love.
Have no regrets,
no words unspoken,
left for the obvious.
Show your love,
speak your love,
touch in love always,
for each brings renewal
and warmth to the soul.
