- The Nua Council, under the special authorization of President Kim and Chancellor (Ret) Gary Sim, officially appoint Mr Desmond to the Council.
Mr Desmond will serve as probationary Minister (Di Siao & Kuai Lan Patterns - MDSK). He will be seconded to MCLA.
He will be on the board of Inspector-Directorate of National Nua University. He will be holding the rank of Ambassador.
- The Nua Council and National Nua Union Congress offer the best wishes to Chancellor Gary Sim, who officially retired from the post of Minister for MCLA. He will continue serve as Chancellor NNU.
- President (Ret) Kim will serve as Acting Minister and Snr Speaker Low as Special Adivsory Secretary for Ministry of Tea Break wef May 2004.
