Died July 7, 1902 in Wagner, Hunt County, Texas. Buried in McWright Cemetery, Wagner, Texas. Perry Washington Mattox was a farmer and carpenter. He married Mary Jane Saunders. Their children: Ellen Mattox, Metta Mattox, Mollie Mattox, Mattie A. Mattox, Judge Perry Mattox, Magnolia Iola Mattox, William Spaulding Mattox, Myrtle Best Mattox. 5) Mary Ann Mattox- little is known about Mary Ann Mattox. We know she was born in Sumner County, Tennessee, but no dates are known. We do that she was living in Sumner County in 1857. She married Mack (Mark?) Perdue. No record of children. 6) Emily F. Mattox- no birth/death/burial information available. Married William Boles (Byles?). Their children: James Perry Boyles, Sarah Boyles. 7) Letitia V. Mattox- Married H. Perdue. 8) Severence E. Mattox- born in Sumner County, Tennessee. Died in Missourri. Was dead when her mother petitoned to leave Sumner County, Tennessee for Texas in 1857. Married Samuel Rippy. Their children: Sarah J.
