| Smith Bros "Fish Shanty" Restaurant Port Washington, Wis Res. Phone (414) 284-5592 Located at the harbor, with a commanding view of cool, blue Lake Michigan. Nautically decorated, this restaurant has been the Midwest mecca for fish and seafood for over 40 years. Shanty Bar Coctails. Hwy. I-42 - 32, 25 miles North of Milwaukee. Open Daily 11:30 - 9:00 P.M. Smith Bros. Restaurants also located at Milwaukee and Los Angeles Calif. Fish Shanty Restaurant as it appeared in it's glory days: the 1960 and 1970's. Notice that the street lights are different now, but otherwise the exterior is more or less the same today. The interior has been massively rennovated. The big red booths are a thing of the past, and the "Shanty Bar" is now a very good Brew Pub. The current management has also added an covered deck in the rear that is open in Summer time - with a great view of the harbor. |
