Snakes eat birds, frogs and it can eat other snakes . A snake can kill 100 people just from one bite because of their poison, or it can kill 250,000 mice. Every one to three months a snake sheds its skin. The eye is cloudy for a few days then it clears and the skin is shed a few days later. Shedding takes only a few minutes once the old skin is rubbed loose at the lips. Most snakes don't eat during this time. |

The corn snake eats a mouse. The snake begins to swallow the mouse headfirst. Snakes have no ears on the outside of their heads. This means that they do not hear sounds in the air as you do, but they are sensitive to vibrations through the ground. |

There are so many snakes. They have bendable bodies that can coil into a ball. A snake sheds its skin by rubbing its nose on a rough surface which makes the skin loose around the head. It then crawls out of the skin. |
