"Also, you'll find a pair of safety glasses and some earplugs under your seats. Please feel free to use them."

I'm writing this entry while listing to the two new Bright Eyes singles (which fucking kick all ass…Oberst is a God)…anyways tomorrow may in fact kill me (mentally that is). First off I’ll just run my thoughts of what happened to me yesterday, which is dubbed "another missed opportunity."

So, I had this trek to Kensington Market to capture some photos (peter parker style) for simply put, photography class. While there I spotted the "girl" that I’ve been pining over ever since the first day of class. Nodded hello followed by a "badass" smile to which she too smiled and gave a smooth, calm, yet oh so beautiful "hello" - That was that and we parted ways to complete the photo assignment. Later on while fixing my camera to capture this wicked-ass shot that reminded me of a Beatles cover, "she" was suddenly right be side taking the exact same shot. I hadn't notice she was there until it was too late...and she walked away. That was my moment to do something, to at least say "nice shot eh?" or say something interesting or one of my crazy jokes or weird sayings to invoke a conversation, but no I just stood there fixing my camera and when she started walking I stared at her drooling with my month wide open.

So yeah….Now tomorrow will be the fucking worst day of my life. I got two essay's to write and a major test to study for and some lame ass journalism shit that I have no idea how to do. But the good thing is that all this work must be done by tomorrow, the key word being "tomorrow".

"...and I’d stand there like a soldier with my foot upon his chest. With my grin spread and my arms out in my bloodstained Sunday's best..."

"Go, Mordecai!"
You would think that having four days off would result in at least getting some homework done, right? I got a two essay's due (one tomorrow and the other thursday), got to write up some comp codes to make up a three page website for wednesday, study for a design basic test tomorrow and a PR test for wednesday...and a shit more to come. So, i should be getting to work right now, but i just can't. There's just something about procrastinating that's so appealing to me...so, nonetheless sometime tonight or early morning i'll be off to write a long ass essay about the death of television and study for a test.

yes, i'm still writing shit in this blog - yesterday, woke up earlier then expected. still in a confused state, went downstairs and ate some left-over cold pizza and drank some purple stuff (as seen in those sunny-d commercials). then passed out while watching the good charlottle i&i on muchmusic. woke up again earlier then expected, went online to check out a few sites that i usually check out every day. went out for a bit, bought lunch (new york fries poutine). back home watched episode 2 and 3 of felicity season three (hey fuck you its a good show!). computer got fucked up, spent hours fixing it. went to the movies to catch "friday night lights" which was a great flick. has there ever been a bad football movie? then went to melanie pringles' bar, its was a bubby of mine' 19th. the place was filled with a bunch of people over the age of 40 dancing to "lady in red". friends drank. i, being 18 and driving did not join in on the drinkingness (don't think thats a word). played some texas hold'em, loss ten bucks (came thrid out of five). got home around 4:30, went to bed. and as for this morning woke up yet again earlier then expected as evident in me writing this spew.

A Day Filled with Ugly People

Today began like many others this week with myself waking up to the lovely sounds of the edge 102.1 at 7am. After hitting the snooze button a couple of times and recalling my dreams which for some reason was about an episode of Full House (the one when they went to Disneyland) where I played the part of Uncle Jesse.

The most vivid part of the dream that I can recall the most was singing the Jesse and the Rippers hit "forever" accompanied by a piano which I was also playing while Rebecca Donaldson stood above weeping with tears of joy. When the song ended I ran to Rebecca, carried her to a near by room and made sweet sweet love to her and I think that may be the reason I have a very embarrassing stain on my power rangers boxer shorts.

I quicky went to the bathroom took a shower followed by the usual order of things: brush teeth, floss, put contacts on, look at my reflection in the mirror and say "you are the coolest motherfucker walking on this planet, your even cooler than Zack Morris", then took a dump while reading the Hilary Duff issue of Blender.

Got dressed decked out in my orange faded polo shirt, blue jeans, and black sweater jacket decorated with three mini pins of Lois Griffin, Count Chocuala, and a Green Day pin which I picked up at the show they had at the phoenix (fucking insane show).

Now since today I did not have access to my car (pops car got a flat) I was subjected to take the Whitby transit. While there I was surround by ugly people, followed by more ugly people on the GO Train expect for this one hot girl who I think was in one of my classes back in high school and since I’m a fucking loser I couldn't muster up the courage to walk up to her and fucking talk...once again I am a fucking idiot. Anyways after that there were even more ugly people on the subway and even more ugly people on the Wilson Bus line. Simply put my travel to Humber college today was filled with the most ugliest people in the entire planet, perhaps I’m shallow, fuck if you laid your eyes on these people you can't help to say to yourself how ugly theses people were.

Got to class late thanks to the slow ass public transportation, but the nonetheless this is college and nobody cares if your late. Spotted the girl I’ve pining over though the glass slit of the door, stared at her for about 3.6 seconds until I entered the class. Thursday are the best why? Cause its fucking film class...and today I got back my paper which was about the movie Garden State (I just handed in my review which you can read on this site) I received 85% on it...following that I had to witness one boring movie called "Breathless" I think it may have been good, but I was just so tired that I fell asleep halfway through.

Class ended. Took all three forms of public transportation back home, but this time there were less ugly people. Anyways I’m home right now watching Letterman, waiting till Kimmel comes on cause Senses Fail are preforming. Who are Senses Fail you ask? well they are part of my “three bands to look out for list” (the other two being Say Anything and Straylight Run). Check em out.

a slow morning that resluted on a loss of $5 and two rides on the GO train

Woke up early for nothing today. You see I have this Public Relations class and there was this field trip of sorts to the Toronto offices of the CBC network. I thought there was going to be a lot of interesting points about their PR department, but instead I was subjected to hear the life stories of two ugly looking broads so ugly that the homeless bum that lives outside of Dirt-R-Us won't even touch. After the lectures we had to pay 5 bucks for a tour of the CBC which was for the most part falls into the catagory of boring, i'll just say that during one part of the tour our tour guide talked in detail about his man-crush on muchmusic vj George Stroumboulopoulos. The fact that I had to wake up at 7 o'clock for this just made everything suck even harder...i should have just slept in.

In other news Amanda Bynes gets all muddy with that chick from 90210

the show of shows and a shit load of reviews

Well, what can i say except for the fact that the Green Day show was fucking rad beyond belief and right now i'm currently jotting down my thoughts in somewhat of a concert review so be on the look out for that. Speaking of reviews there is a shit load of new ones that I put up. On the movie front there are three from the dude known as Clarkey where he spits out his thoughts on "Fahrenheit 911", "The Manchurian Candidate", and "Paparazzi". While I blow my brains about what has to be one of this years top movies in "Infernal Affairs". On the music front I took the time to write up a review on Green Day's rock opera "American Idiot". So, if you got the time give em a look see.

My life is a combination of thrills, spills, and utter geekdom.

The thrills comes in the form of getting excited at the most surreal achievements which most recently is getting tickets for the now sold-out in 6 minutes Green Day show this Friday. It was just insane and yes I am a lucky bastard. Woke up at 9:58am on the day tickets went on sale just two minutes before they actually went on sale. Logged onto ticket master, punched in some keys, a couple of clicks on the mouse, and then boom two glorious tix to an once in a lifetime show - cause lets face will Green Day ever play the whole “American Idiot” album in its entirety ever again? perhaps, but still...

Speaking of “American Idiot” I’ve been listening to the whole record for the past week and half which rounds up to about 30+ times (its my commute music to school and during school) and I am loving it now...it can possibly be the best thing Billie Joe and gang have ever written. Also I got my fiendish hands on the new Used album called "in love and death" and it gave me a fucking musical eargasm. The last track "I'm a Fake" makes me utterly speechless...the intro to it - fucking rad...its one hellva song from one hellva record. And for a treat I put up one of the new Used tracks up here on the main page so it should be blazing your speakers right now.

...the spills comes from this girl at school I’ve been pining over for quite sometime now. Just yesterday I was siting right beside her in class for a good hour and forty minutes and I said completely nothing...I’m such a fucking idiot. And in the words of Wayne Campbell “...she will be mine, oh yes she will be mine..”

The geekdom comes from the fact that issue 5 of the "Astonishing X-Men" hits shelves today and let me tell you this is some enthralling shit...Joss Weadon is a God...Colossus is back mother fuckers! and yes I am a nerd in all its meaning, hell I have star wars action plastered on my wall in the original packaging.

There Are No Rules Version 7.0, College Commute, and Green Day

So, this site is finally back up in all of its somewhat glory. Made the look more basic (enough of all those fancy looking text and visuals) and more clearer then any of the former layouts. Also the site right now is about 60% as there is still alot of shit i have to either fix or upload shit including numerous new quick reviews and formal reviews by both myself and clarkey.

Now, for my blog entery...the past two or so weeks has been hell for the most part, thanks partly to high education. Not so much the work load of college and or the college experience (cause there are alot of fine-looking laides in my classes) its the damn commute that's killing me, two fucking hours there and back..sitting through the endless timewaster of the GO Train, the dirty smell of people on the TTC subway, and then a 30min trek on the Bus to hit the stomping grouds of Humber College, its FUCKIN' KILLING ME! I should have taken residenece. Anyways i'll vent out all of my frustrations and adventures of my first year at college soon enough...

Well, the Green Day album is hitting shelves on the 22nd and i've heard the album already, can't say its anywhere near the greatness of "Insomniac", but nonetheless it is enjoyble and fuckin catchy-as-hell that you can't help not to listen to - Favorite songs: Jesus of Suburbia, Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, Homecoming, Give Me Novacaine, and Are We The Waiting...and for a plus I get to hear this whole album in its entirety LIVE IN CONCERT on 24th at the phoenix...YEAH I GOT FUCKIN TICKETS and all i got to say to those who don't is EAT IT!
