| MARC BOLAN & T.REX - Dandy In The Underworld released 1977 reviewed by guest reviewer Quo |
|||||||||||||||||||||
Released 13th march 1977. This was Marc Bolan’s last album. This was the year Marc cleaned himself up. He got off the drugs and hosted a hit television show called “marc” of all names. The future looked fantastic for Marc but he died in a horrific car crash in September of the same year. This was also the year marc was making a comeback into the music scene. Only having minor hits from the years 1974 to 76. The first single from the album “I love to boogie” was a true T.REX song and got them back in the spotlight for a short time by peaking at number 13. This album is a work of art it showed Marc was back and is kicking ass once again. He was on top form with songs like “crimson moon” , “hang ups” and “dandy in the underworld”. It’s a shame that Marc isn’t alive to follow up on this album I rate this album 9/10 |
