Gaiking

Great Sky Daemon Dragon Gaiking.  Sanshiro Tsuwabuki is a baseball superstar. Victim of a strange accident, he is unable to continue his career, but is given the opportunity to pilot Gaiking, a giant robot professor Fujiyama just built to defend Earth against the aliens from Zela.  The Zelians, leaded by The Great Darus and his four generals, are determined to resettle on our planet since their own is about to be swallowed by a black hole.  Professor Daimonji realizes this danger and constructs Daiku Maryu or Space Dragon and Gaiking to protect the earth from the alien attack.  In addition, he also creates three small vehicles to assist Gaiking incase needed.  After construction, he gathers the remaining Esper to assist him in protecting earth.  Sanshiro is taken by surprise by their first offensive against our planet during test flight of Gaiking.  Soon after, he discovers that he possesses strange powers and that his "accident" was in fact part of the alien's vast plan to incapacitate all the promising youth of Earth in order to render their invasion easier.  After many unsuccessful attempts on taking earth, finally the Zela launch their final attack on earth.  They managed to trap Gaiking and Daiku Maryu on the Mars, inside some kind of impenetrable bubble, leaving the earth unguarded.  They landed on mount Fuji.  Meanwhile at Mars, Gaiking and Daiku Maryu manage to tore the bubble apart and fly back to earth in a hurry.  When they arrived, they found the city has already half destroyed.  Gaiking acts quickly by destroying enemy robots and flies to Mt. Fuji to meet the Great Darus.  The final battle begins.  The four generals attack Daiku Maryu, while Darus fight with Gaiking.  In the end, the four generals were killed and Gaiking burns Darus, but apparently did not die because he is an android.  Again, Sanshiro's ability to throw spinning ball save the day.  He modifies Gaiking's Hydro Blazer into firing this spinning ball like projectile.  This fooled Darus and manages to destroy Darus' main computer.

3: Des Fire. Flame is fired when Gaiking open it's face.

4: Zauru Gaizer.  A lethal double helix beam.  This is what Gaiking uses to destroy its enemy.

5: Hydro Blazer.  It shoots an energy ball with its projectile path controlled by Sanshiro using his baseball ability.

6: Killer Bite.  Gaiking bites the enemy robots and sends a destructive energy using this jaw.

7: Counter Punch (Miracle Drill and Hand Missiles).  Standard flying punch like the other robots.  Gaiking can attach two miracle drills to its hands and drill enemy.  Hand Missiles are fired from the wrist.

8: Counter Cross: Gaiking can throw this at the enemy or use it as hand sword.

9: Back Shredder: A saw that pops up from center of the wings.

10: Des Light

3: Machine Gun.  a standard machine gun.

4: Launch Bay.  A multi-purpose launch bay.  It can launch various units and weapons.  Big Horn-Daiku can use this weapon for ramming enemy.  Miracle Drill-this is a drill-missile.  It can drill through the enemy, or explode like ordinary missile.  Another use of this drill is it attached tp Daiku's feet.

5: Wheels.  Using these, Daiku can roam on any surfaces or run over an enemy.

6: Dragon Head.  When Daiku Maryu launches Gaiking, this head comes off and becomes Gaiking's body.

7: Thrusters.  Using these, Daiku is able to fly.

8: Dragon Cutter.  This wings can open and shot a boomerang shaped cutters.

9: Giant Cutter.  Daiku's abdomen can open and reveal a giant cutter from inside it.  It's non launchable.

10: Des Light
