Thought and remembrance of Jesus’ birth.
Guests-
Sitting on the ugly blue couch,
Surrounded by walls of intense red,
Laughing, crying, smiling, frowning.
Family-
Sitting by the fire on a frigid night,
Getting to know each other,
So deeply and thoroughly,
Living, growing, learning, loving.
Memories-
Thoughts of joy and sadness,
Chosen to be held onto,
Tucked back in an abstruse mind.
