Introducing: Prince
" Paulette is so good to me.
I love it when she and Chip visit.
I'll keep my streamlined figure eating these delicious, nutritious carrots !
I wonder if she's forgotten the time
that I gave her a little "love" bite?
Guess so, since she still comes to
visit me !! "
" This is the ranch pest...
I mean
pet... named Zima.
Zima loves
everyone !! "
This page is about Chip and Paulette's "adopted" horse, Prince.
He lived and played in Alachua, FL,
at "Retirement Home for Horses at Mill Creek Farm".
Prince did his best to keep the neighborhoods safe when he was
a working member of The City of Miami Mounted Police Patrol
for more than 17 years.

We are very sad that he passed away on October 12, 2003.
At Mill Creek Farm he enjoyed a life of well-earned leisure.
His favorites things were carrots, apples, and occassionally,
chasing a filly !
Please enjoy this album created with love.

You were a sweet horse, Frog Prince !
" Hi !
I'm Prince.
This is my most photogenic side !! "
" Hello everyone.
Come a little closer so I can nuzzle you !!
Hey, what's that brown horse doing?
Is he trying to steal my carrots? "
Thanks for visiting....bring a carrot next time, okay?
Visitors are welcome every Saturday from 11-3,
and may walk freely around the 245 acres and 21 pastures.

You may bring bags of carrots and apples for the horses,
and biscuits for the dogs.

You may "Adopt a Horse" for $40 a month.

Caretakers/Founders, Mary and Peter,
house approximately 100 horses and 17 dogs.

There is a unique story for each animal.
Some were abused or neglected, and some, like Prince, are spending their "retirement" years there.
Mary and Peter would love to share their stories with you.

Please visit their website,
"
Retirement Home for Horses at Mill Creek",
or better yet, visit the farm some Saturday !
What a great family outing !
Join us as we met our Grandhorse.  We spent several hours wandering the many, many acres of corrals.  It is a really neat place to visit even if you haven't adopted a horse there.  Owners Peter and Mary are delightful and full of stories about each animal...including the cow !!

Album to see highlights of our "day at the farm"
