This page is my tribute to the TV show "Smallville", and to a wonderful actor on that show: Michael Rosenbaum. "Smallville", for those who don't know, is a TV show on the WB network, which is now in its fifth season. The show actually now airs at 8/7c on Thursdays (and I finally fixed the icons!) It's about teenage Clark Kent living in Smallville, Kansas. He's not Superman yet, but he still carries hot pans, lifts cars, runs really fast, and can burn stuff with his eyes. The mantra of the SV writers is "No tights, no flights", but even they twist their own rules (including adding some questionably ambiguous homoerotic dialog, but that's all in good fun.) Clark is still friends with Lex Luthor, who starts to grow darker as the show progresses. Michael Rosenbaum, the talented and handsome actor who portrays the evil multibillionaire, was born in Long Island, and grew up in Indiana. Michael graduated from Western Kentucky University, and is an avid Rangers fan. Though most well-known for his role on "Smallville", Mike has also had a film career, with credits in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil", "Urban Legend", "Sweet November" "Poolhall Junkies", Bringing Down the House", and "Sorority Boys". He also did voicework as "The Flash" in "Justice League", and was on the TV series "Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane". |
