He was the son of Ambrose Mullins Sr. Nothing is known about who his mother was.
Ambrose is said to have built the first house on Bold Camp and was buried in the first grave ever made for a white man on the stream. His son Riley Mullins lived on Birchfield in a house built by Ambrose. this is from the T.J. Sutherland Collection. Available at the Latter Day Saints Center.
