Russ Rose-No one knows more about engines, hitches, tractor balance, tires, and track conditions than Russ. No one does more to help the sport, his team members, and competitors than Russ. He is a co-founder of the Endangered Species Team, a board member with the Central Kentucky Antique Pullers Association, and works closely with all the pulling organizations to help ensure safe, quality pulling events. When he gets on the track, Russ is a fierce competitor and knows how to win. In 2007 Russ was the points leader in two classes, and the points winner of the 5,500lb Super Farm Stock Class with the Bluegrass Antique Pullers Association. He won key events for 2007 in Lanesville, IN and with the CKAP, USAP, BGAP, and Salt River Pulling organizations. He also placed second on one track in the 4,250lb Tunica, MS Southern Winter Nationals King of the Hill Class. In 2008 Russ won the 4000lb Super Farm Stock class points championship with the Central Kentucky Antique Pullers & the Salt River Antique Power Association. Russ can be found pulling and winning with his tractor in classes ranging from 3,500lbs up to 6,500lbs in both Super Farm and Modified Classes. He is supported by his Mom and Dad, his wife and daughter, his brother and sister-in-law, and his niece and two nephews. |
