Shannon Rose-She is arguably one of the best looking drivers in tractor pulling. Her competitors watch her closely not only because she is pretty, but also because she has become a proven winner on every track. Like Ron, she takes care of details for Endangered Species/Rose Pulleing Team that others might miss. She is not happy unless every tractor is shined like a mirror, every tire is cleaned, and every weight is painted. She makes sure the team keeps good records of wins and losses and scouts every competitor to discover their strategies. For 2007, Shannon was the points leader and winner of the 3,500lb Super Farm Stock class with Bluegrass Antique Pullers Association. She was also the 3,500lb Super Farm Stock II Class Champion at the Tunica, MS Southern Winter Nationals. Shannon sat out most of 2008 but we hope to get her back pulling in 2009. She has a close relationship with her tractor and affectionately refers to it as “Baby Girl”. Shannon is supported by her husband, her two sons and daughter, her parents and her in-laws, her two brother and sister in-laws, and her niece. |
