INDIA... AGAIN!
OK, we felt we needed a holiday after a totally amazing European/African leg, so we headed back to India for some time to chill on the beaches of Goa.

Initially the plan was to have about 4 weeks on our favourite beach Palolem but this soon extended to more than 6 weeks! We'd found a great little hut in a sheltered bay just next to Palolem and got busy doing nothing.

Our days consisted of a late rise, chillin on the beach with either beach bat or frisbee depending on the tides; frisbee with the tide in, beach bat when it was out.

Lots of sun and sand was backed up by the great care we received from the local resturaunt/pub, of which we were very happy to have made friends with the staff. These guys helped decide the extra time spent there and it was always great to get hang with these guys. We were even taken to meet the chef's newborn baby in the local village.

We had a great Christmas being treated with local seafood and wines in our favourtite resturaunt. New Years was hectic being surrounded by many parties with too much juice in their speakers. A real highlight was setting off our own fireworks on New Years!

The relaxing stopped around 4pm when we climbed the cliff and onto a point for 2 hours of yoga with a great insturctor Raja. Dinners on the beach every night and chillin with intrepid friends, we never felt bored and found it extremly hard to leave.

Eventually we moved on to meet Ash and Guy. Before this we had a short stop in hampi and unfortunately Lorren came down with Typhoid. Our move east was halted in Bangalor where once again we were very lucky to receive the hospitality of Suresh and Dipanjali.

Ash and Guy came to meet us here and together we moved on to kerela for our last 2 weeks in India.

We were happy to move on and get out of India to the peace of Singapore. Lorren was able to recover fully here before starting and South East Asian tour.

Singapore was a well needed rest stop for both of us and it was great to have Rosh's dad here too. As a group we headed off (with Aunties and Uncles too) for Bintan Island in Indonesia. Three days of deluxe rest was just what we needed and we came back refreshed and ready to take on the next challenge.
