	06-28-09 The bee is less than two months away and everyone is getting ready! There is something new for the kids this year! Games Galore out of Fargo, ND will have three fun games for the kids to play on during Sunday afternoon of the Bee. A wristband will get them unlimited fun for the afternoon! Hope to see you there! 03-23-09 It's that time of year again! Time for mud and flooding... and PANCAKES! This Sunday, the 29th, is the annual Threshermen(and women)'s Pancake Feed. It will be held from 10:30am to 1pm at the Rosholt Community Center. They will be serving pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, and juice. Hope to see you there! 08-13-08 The bee is a few days away and I'm checking in for a quick update! Everyone has been really busy getting everything ready for the big weekend! There are tons of activities on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be a car show, chili cook-off, craft sale, and entertainment on the grounds on Saturday! Sunday is also full of things to do! Be sure to check out the schedule! There are also lots of new additions to the grounds. Augustana Lutheran looks right at home and there is also a brand new shelter that will house bag-pipers and other entertainment. Come join the fun! 06-20-08 How silly of me to forget! Be sure to check the schedule because there will be plenty of updates. New entertainment and activities will be posted! Also, the Car Show is back! Shine those babies up and bring 'em out! I'm sure it'll be a great day for it! 06-19-08 Well, the sun is shining, and the corn is slowly growing taller. That means the Bee is on its way! Every Wednesday night is work night on the grounds. People normally get there at around 7pm, so hopefully you will come and help! This weekend is full of events. On Saturday, people are oiling and shining up their tractors to drive them 63 miles for the Make A Wish tractor run. For more info, check out the CTR link on the Contacts page. Since everyone will be hungry from all that driving, Sunday is the Ice Cream Social in Rosholt! It will be held at the Community Center starting at 1pm. (We tested it already, and it's delicious!!) Hope to see you there! 04-10-08 Well, it's blizzarding and I can't get outside or anything so I found a site to upload all the Threshing pictures onto. So, now when you click the 'Pictures' link you will be sent to Flickr which has hundreds of pictures from the past Bees. Also, this Sunday the 13th is the dinner in New Effington for the Tractor Run. The RATA Pancake Breakfast will be held March 30, 2008 at the Rosholt Community Center from 10am to 2pm. Breakfast is free will and the proceeds go towards making another great show! See you all there! 12-27-07 Calling all you Massey fans! Next years feature tractor will be the Massey Harris! Start shining them up now! 12-09-07 I'm a little late on this, but the Christmas party will be held at Kiley's in Victor tomorrow night (the 10th). A meeting will be held at 6pm with the meal following. Hope to see you all there! 8-20-07 Although it was a little wet and cold this weekend, the bee was still great! I just want to thank everyone for coming to the show! Treading through the mud just made it more authentic, right? :) I will get some pictures from this year up as soon as I get time! Hopefully by the end of the week! The fundraising for the Augustana Church is going great! The grounds will be buzzing again this weekend for the Ice Cream Social! Be sure to spend the afternoon eating pie and homemade ice cream! The cookbooks will be for sale there, too! I hope to see you there! 7-26-07 BIG NEWS! The long awaited cookbooks are here! "Fresh Off the Farm" will be for sale the weekend of the bee, but if you can't wait that long you can pick them up at Floral Design & Gifts. There are also postcards for sale there too! 7-11-07 Okay, so I'm a little bad at this update stuff! Things have been busy and the Bee is just around the corner! The members are running around getting things all ready to go! There are a few changes in the schedule.. and by changes I mean additions! Be sure to check them all out! That's all for now, but stay tuned for all the latest! . 2-9-2007 Update time! This is not exactly relating to the Threshing Bee, but a VERY good cause: On June 23rd there will be a Tractor Run benefiting the Make a Wish Foundation. I'm not sure of any exact details at this point, but I do know it'll start in New Effington, go through Rosholt, to Circle K, Sisseton, Claire City, and then back to New Effington. The entrance fee is $30 and that includes lunch and a t-shirt. There will be a street dance in New Effington that night following the run! When I know more about this, I'll let you know! Okay, onto Threshing business... thanks to all who came to the Christmas Party. It was fun and the food was great! And another thanks to the few of you who ventured out into tonight's brisk weather to come to the meeting. The annual pancake breakfast will be held on March 25th from 10am until 1pm at the Rosholt Community Center. Once again, it will be free will. And.... drumroll the cookbook will be ready for this year's bee! They will be $10 and there's about 250 recipes in it... and they're really good. :) Other than that, I don't know much! Keep tuned for more updates! 11-30-2006 Attention Threshermen and women! The RATA Christmas Party will be held at the Wheaton Legion on Wednesday, December 6th at 6:30pm! Hope to see you all there! 8-22-2006 The bee was great! The sun was shining and so were the smiles of many visitors! I've got new pics up so be sure to check 'em out! We just want to say thanks to everyone who came out for the weekend! We hope to see you next year!! 8-14-2006 It's less than a week away, folks! Are you as excited as I am? Probably not.. haha. Well, the bathrooms are up and running. Feel free to wait in line instead of using a stinky port-o-potty! I know I will be! I hope to see you all there! If you see me, say hello! 7-13-2006 Yeah, yeah... I know. "Where's the updates, lady?" I blame work. Tell them to give me a few days off so I can update this site. I'm sure they'd understand. ;) Anyhoo, things are looking up this year! The crew is currently working on the restrooms, painting the school, and other upkeeps. They always need help so if you're interested in joining just show up on a Wednesday night from now until the Bee. The grounds will be buzzing with members running about. Don't be nervous about too much working though, they like to stand around and shoot the breeze, too. Now to the point of this update: new pictures! Check them out on the pictures page! 4-26-2006 Has anyone noticed the beautiful weather? I have, and that's probably why it's taken me forever to update. I've got great news though! The pancake feed was a huge success and a lot of fun! Thanks to those who came and helped and filled their stomachs! I've also been pretty busy typing away to get the cookbook done for this summer. There are tons of great recipes and I'm not even to the dessert section yet! That's all for this time... Good luck in the planting season! 3-19-2006 Hey threshermen and women! For all you pancake lovers out there, the RATA Pancake Feed will be held on March 26th from 10am to 1pm. It will be held at the Rosholt Community Center and a free will donation is appreciated! You will also be excited to know that the RATA Cookbook should be ready for the summer! More details on that later. I hope to see you all at the pancake feed! 11-16-05 Hello Everyone! Great news! It snowed today! Okay maybe I'm the only one excited about that, but I have the pictures up. So you can all be excited about that. Of course, the RATA Christmas party is coming up. When I have more info on that I'll let you know! 11-9-05 Okay so when I say a few weeks.. I mean a few months. I am seriously working on getting the pictures up now. I've been a busy girl. Anyway, I never got any emails about the CD's so I'm going to forget about that idea. However, the cookbook is in the process of being typed up. It will be done by next summer so don't worry! That's all for now. 8-23-05 First off, I'd like to thank all of you who attended! This year's bee was a lot of fun! I took a lot of pictures and I hope to get all the pictures up soon! Proceeds will go to the Threshermen, of course. 8-16-05 The bee is getting closer and the members are really excited for the weekend! The craft sale is going to be great, the tractors are shiny, and the cooks are getting their chili recipies perfected! Even though I don't have it up, there are tons of activites going on Saturday. Softball games start at 9am with the RHS class reunions, the city rummage sales, chili feeds, and the apprecation supper and dance at night. So drop your plans and call in sick if you're suppose to work this weekend because Rosholt is the place to be! I'm looking foward to seeing you all there! 8-14-05 The bee is a week away and the grounds are buzzing! The members are working hardto make this bee just as great as the years before!
