The JM Tek USB Drive is a very nifty piece of hardware to have. It’s compact, light and you can slip it into your pocket to take along with you anywhere.

It’s very easy to install and use. Just install the drivers, which can be easily downloaded from the website, plug the drive in an available USB port and it recognizes and installs immediately. There’s no need to restart your computer to have it recognize the drive like some devices require. That’s a BIG plus when transferring files from one pc to another. Having to reboot each time is very time consuming and annoying!

I use a USB hub to connect my devices. The drive works perfectly with my hub. This is a big plus because a lot of devices don’t work well through a hub and you have to crawl around and find the USB port in the back of your computer. That’s something I don’t want to have to do. But, if you don’t have a hub, there is a connecting cable so you don’t have to keep pulling your tower out from it’s resting place to get to the USB port.

The drive comes in sizes ranging from 16MB to 512MB with a 1 GIG in the works. I used the 16MB. It worked really great, but I would have more use for one with more storage space. The drive is compatible with Windows Me. This is a great and unusual thing. There are not a lot of devices out there that are compatible with this OS.

I recommend the USB Drive to anyone who wants to easily and quickly transfer files from pc to pc. It’s also great to take along on trips where you will have access to a computer. You’ll have all your important files with you!
