Welcome relatives and friends

Rosita Sipaco, known as "Tita" to most of her friends, was born in Abuyog, Leyte, Philippines on October 13, 1939. She was the second of the seven daughters: (Luz (deceased), Bernardita, Rebecca, Elisa, Teresita and Milagros) of Mr. Refugio and Mrs. Estelita (deceased) Maure. She finished a graduate Nurse from Far Eastern University and Graduated with a degree of Bachelor in Science in Nursing (BSN) from Divine Word University in Tacloban City, Philippines. She was a pioneer Nurse in St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey as an exchange visitor in 1965. Before coming to the United States, She was a supervising Nurse in Leyte Provincial Hospital where her Husband Dr. Catalino Sipaco MD was the Director. They have four sons and 2 daughters. They are Cesar Paul, Carlo Oliver, Christian, Candice, Chelo and Chito. She came to the United States January of 1990 and worked at Coler Memorial Hospital on March 18, 1991. She is known to be energetic, kind and resourceful to her co-workers. As expected, she continued to excel as a professional Nurse, a great friend, always compassionate, always with a kind heart to everybody.
With great grief, sadness, longingness and sorrow, Rosita Sipaco "Tita" joined our creator on June 7, 2002 leaving behind her husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren, daughter-in-laws, father, sisters, friends, co-workers, her patients, residents, doctors, nurses and other health care workers who are greatly saddened and will surely miss her. Tita will always be in our hearts as a loving wife, mother, nurse, friend and a wonderful person. We will miss you a lot.

Obituary made by Friends and co-workers of Coler Memorial Hospital of New York.

A message board is provided for you to express how you feel about Rosita Sipaco. Some of us had the priviledge to experience her kindness and uncondition love and friendship. Maybe we can also post that experience on our message board. Thank you and have fun surfing the site.

Safely Home

I am home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever,Safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder I so calmly. Trod the valley of the shade? Oh! but Jesus' love illumined every dark and fearful glade.

And He came Himself to meet me. In that way so hard to tread; And with Jesus' Arm to lean on,Could I have one doubt or dread?

Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still: Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our father's Will.

There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly stand; Do it now, while life remaineth- You shall rest in Jesus' Land.

When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come!
