		Alex has been a valued friend to Maria and Liz for a very long time.  He is very resourceful and useful in times of crisis.  Although he is somewhat geeky he proves to have his good points, including a big heart and a high rate of brain activity. For some time, Isabel lead Alex along, knowing how much he decently and intimately cared for her, which most think was unfair.  Alex expressed his thoughts on the matter when he was reluctant, at first, to take Isabel to the prom. Alex usually makes stupud mistakes but is consistantly level headed and calm.  He was appalled when Maria and Liz were hiding the secret of the hybrids from him.  He quickly understood their actions once he found out, knowing that there was a lot at stake. To the upset of many, Alex met an unfortnate end.
