	Max exposed the other-worldly identities of himself, Isabel his sister and Michael, who at the time he believed to be his brother, in order to save the life of Liz Parker.  He used his powers to heal Liz and pull her from the brink of death caused by a shooting.  This gathered much unwanted attention, resulting in the hybrids struggling to lead a normal life. Max loves Liz very deeply, and would do anything to protect his friends from the world, at the same time he would protect the world from them.  Max is an intense and intelligent, placid guy, often finding it hard to be the leader given his timid nature. It was discovered that Max was once, and still is, the King of an alien world.  Max finds it hard to deal with as, usually, he is very reserved, the thinking type, and being a King to a rare breed of human/alien hybrids that exist to save their home planet, sometimes proves too much for him to bare. Apart from having the power to manipulate matter pyhsically and chemically as all the hybrids can, Max has the unique abilities of healing and force field projection.
