It is my pleasure to announce to you and the result of the recently concluded Group Study Exchange (GSE) selection held last July 21, 2002 at the Villa de Carmelita Resort in Malvar, Batangas.

This is one of the toughest field of candidates for both Team leader and team members in memory. A total of Eight (8) team leader nominees and Twenty Five (25) team member applicants were interviewed by our PDGs and Former team leaders and former team members respectively. It was very tedious and draining for the panels and I would like to thank them for giving their time, a Sunday, for the Rotary Foundation.

PDG's Mon, Emong, Ed, Pete and Chito. Former team members PP Pol Hernandez and his Netherlands team, who came in full force. Former Team leader James Buzar who came with a former team member to India. The New York team of PDS Pete. CP Darwin and my team from Missouri. No words will justify your sacrifices last Sunday, knowing pretty well that it should have been spent with your respective families.  To all clubs who supported this project, we salute you.
