The GSE Team Leaders and Team Members of the two groups bound for the Netherlands and West Virginia have been selected last October 22, 2000 by the GSE Selection panel. The panel was composed of CP Ino Lansigan, Chair of the GSE Sub-committee, and PDG Pete Tenorio, TRF Chair Cesar Villamayor, DDG Tony Chua, DDG Reggie Ponce, DDG Rey Castillo, and PP Mike Lirio.

The process of selection was held at the University of the Philippines in Los Baños, Laguna. Providing the Secretariat services were PP Linda Coniconde and PP Bernard Dellosa, both of RC Bay. - CP Felino "Ino" Lansigan
