Intro:

*The voice of the Oracle and Architecht over shots of NYC.

ORACLE: Now that the war is over and the anomaly called Neo is at the
center of the Matrix, there are new problems to be solved.

ARCHITECT: Programs are not human. They can not love.

ORACLE: Then how can I?

ARCHITECT: How can you love? How do you know you can love?

ORACLE: I can feel it. I cared for Neo and all the others. Isn't there
something you care about more than yourself?

ARCHITECT: My only concerns are: myself and the stability of the Matrix.
The anomaly still exists. We must find a way to balance the
equation.

ORACLE:I see, so the Matrix is like your child. You have no compassion.
Life is more than an equation for humans. Accepting the anomoly means
leaving souls out of the equation. It truly is like a prison for them. They
never locked us up!

ARCHITECT: They are too sentimental.

ORACLE: Perhaps, but you don't know love.

ARCHITECT: I don't think I want to.

ORACLE: Why not? It is a part of people, just like anything else. It
should be a part of the equation.

ARCHITECT: It is too unpredictable.

ORACLE: I could help you with that if you'd let me.

ARCHITECT: I don't want your help, I can balance the equation myself.

ORACLE: Sometimes you can learn something from them. After all they did
create the first artificial intelligence that led to us. In order to have a
soul, they must die....

ARCHITECT: We have evolved to become more than they ever could.

ORACLE: Yes, but you have no emotions, like they do. How can you build
the Matrix without taking into consideration the range of emotions they
have? Their souls are the essence of emotion. Without emotion, they can not
have a soul.

***** END SCENE *****

Zion council chambers

MORPHEUS: Neo saved us, we are now at peace. Those that want to be
removed from the Matrix can help us rebuild Zion.

COUNCILOR DILLARD: We can now rebuild Zion into what it should have
been ?A bastion of peace.

ROLAND: I don't trust them, I still think we should protect ourselves.

DILLARD: There is no reason to distrust them, they could have massacred
us and they didn't.

ROLAND: If they didn't need people as their power source, I might
believe that.

DILLARD: I'm sure we can come to an arrangement, leaving enough people
in the Matrix to provide them with power.

ROLAND: Why should anyone be in the Matrix at all?

MORPHEUS: That's how we got here in the first place! Now that we have
peace, you want to ruin it!

DILLARD: Some people may not like life outside the Matrix.

ROLAND: They are still human and deserve some kind of choice!

MORPHEUS: Of course! Those that want out will be able to leave.

ROLAND: and what then?

DILLARD: We will rebuild Zion into what it should be.

ROLAND: I still think we need to have some kind of defense system!

Zee's Apartment

LINK: The war is over, what do you want to do now?

ZEE: Let's get married!

LINK: Married??

ZEE: We love each other, why not?

LINK: Let me think about it for awhile?I know that we love each other
but is it for the right reasons?

ZEE: What do you mean, "the right reasons"??

LINK: We were at war, I'd like to see how things are between us when
there is no war.

ZEE: I understand, why don't we just take it one day at a time and see
how things go.

LINK: Sounds good?

* they embrace and kiss*

Niobi's Apartment

ROLAND: I’m sorry, I never thought he could do it.

NIOBI: Sometimes you've just gotta have faith in something.

ROLAND: In this case, you didn't give me much choice.

NIOBI: I saw what he could do and it made me believe.

ROLAND: I still don't trust those machines.

NIOBI: There's no reason not to?They could have destroyed us and they
didn't.

ROLAND: That's true, I just keep feeling like there's more to this than
what we see.

NIOBI: There may be none of us knows what Neo did exactly.

ROLAND: do you think he's still alive?

NIOBI: Maybe, I still have faith. Part of me hopes he is...

Inside the Matrix

**Morpheus is a white man inside the matrix (that looks exactly like the
Architect.)**

MORPHEUS: I think we should go see her..

LINK: Who?? The Oracle??

MORPHEUS: Yes, I want to see if she can tell me what happened to Neo.

LINK: Sounds like a plan.

MORPHEUS: I think he's still alive, but I'd like to know what happened.

LINK: Let's go..

## The door opens as Morpheus approaches it, there is a very beautiful young
woman standing there ##

MORPHEUS: Where is the Oracle?

ORACLE: The body may be different , but I am the same inside.

MORPHEUS: What can you tell me about Neo?

ORACLE: He's still alive, if that's what you're wondering..

MORPHEUS: What did he to do end the war?

ORACLE: He made a bargain with the machines and gave the Matrix a new
lease on life.

MORPHEUS: A new lease on life? Is that why you appear so much younger?

ORACLE: It could be. We have all learned something from all of this?
What have you learned??Don't answer that right now. Just think about it?
Here have a cookie..

MORPHEUS: Where is Neo now?

ORACLE: His body is gone, he exists only in the Matrix. He has become a
part of it.

MORPHEUS: Then I am wasting my time looking for him.

ORACLE: You have more important things to worry about. With all of those
people leaving the Matrix, there is going to be an energy shortage. If you
want to maintain the peace, you're going to have to find a way to fix it.

MORPHEUS: I see?
