Homosexuality and Parenting
This website is meant to give a basic introduction to the subject of homosexuality and the controversy surrounding gay and lesbian parenting.  I have provided arguments both for and against homosexual parenting in an attempt to give both sides of the argument.  Other topics covered here include adoption, children's perspectives on gay and lesbian parenting, and the sudden mainstream appearance of homosexual parenting in our culture.
Some of the ideas presented here are not in accordance with my own beliefs, but are simply provided in order to give the most complete picture of the controversy at hand.  In addition, I have not included religious reasons as a bias against homosexual parenting as these beliefs are not based in science.  However, despite the fact that religious beliefs are not detailed here on these pages, does not mean that they do not play a dynamic role in the controversy discussed here.  It is important to remember that often times those against homosexual parenting come from a predominantly Christian background.
I have attempted to get in touch with a few different organizations that I have referenced on this page.  I have received no response from COLAGE.  My rather criptic communication with a member of DA*DI just reinforced my understanding of those who are so set in a specific mindset, that they refuse to listen to other people's perspectives (see correspondance to read the letters exchanged).
