Rothmans Honda has again climbed the ladder in the race for the Team Championship title, with a satisfying result at the French GP..

Rezist has returned to his season-best form, with a ninth position at the Paul Ricard circuit. He was very happy with the result after the race. "Yes! Thats my best result since the preseason test!  Saber and I were having a great battle, we were riding on the limit the whole race."
"I got a slow start but soon settled in about 1 second behind Saber. His Kawasaki was much faster in the turns, but on the straights I was able to use the power of the Honda to stay in touch. On about lap 10 I started to do a couple of good laps and edged closer to him, and I thought it could be possible to move up a place. So I kept pushing and managed to get in front on the back straight with 2 laps to go. Then I just tried hard to keep a clean line in the corners to match the Kawasaki."
"I managed to hold him off until the chicane, where had had a go at me. I kept the position into the Village but Saber passed me into the last turn. But luckily I have this wonderful V5 engine which enabled me to beat him to the line on the main staight. Im very happy with the result and look forward to Mugello, its a favourite track of mine."
