A New World (Heart of a world)
Chapter 1

The world has been plunged into darkness by a new government and The Master. It has made everyone into slaves and there rights were taken away. There was something that was hidden deep beneath the earth that someone is about to stumble upon it. This person slaves away all night and all day with little breaks totaling only 3 hours. She was beautiful but she was stuck in some dirty old mine collecting diamonds for the Master.

She watched as the guard walked by, he was just called up to the Masters office and was yelled at for not producing enough diamonds as the other mines. “Alright, Double time all of you,” the Guard yelled , “and I don’t want any complaining.” He walked by and whispered “I hate this.”

After the break Rose decided to approach The guard. “Sir.....” she paused “I know you don’t really like your job and I would like to know If you’d help me escape and bring the world back to normal......” and out of the blue the guard hit her over the head with his club. He dragged her to his office.

An hour and a half later she finally awoke from being hit on the head. She awoke with a pounding headache! She looked at the guard and asked “Why did you do that?”

“Because, I thought we should talk in my office and that was the only way to get you here.” he said

She read his name tag and finally said “Well Sky I umm.... well found these special crystals when I was digging in the mine yesterday and I was wondering... well I know you hate your job and I want you to help me escape!”

“I do not know if that is possible do you want us both to end up one of the many Mars penal colonies. Is that were you wanna live for the rest of your life!”

“I do not care were I live I just want to get rid of the master and put things back the way they used to be!”

“ Well if you put it that way why not?” Sky said. He told her the plan to get her out of there but inside her pocket the Crystal that was clear all the way through was glowing.

“Rose.......What’s that?” Sky asked

“Well I found these in the mine and the a blue one choose me. There was an engraving within the box:

“THE CRYSTALS HOLD SPECIAL POWERS TO GRANT 4 PEOPLE WITH UNBELIEVABLE STRENGTH. STRENGTH NOT KNOWN BY ANY HUMAN. THE STRENGTH TO CONTROL POWERS OF THIS WORLD. THE POWERS ARE HIDDEN WITHIN THESE CRYSTALS. THESE CRYSTALS WILL CHOOSE YOU ONCE AND FOREVER! 4 ELEMENTS 4 CRYSTALS 4 UNLIKELY PEOPLE 4 WARRIORS DESTINED TO BE TOGETHER”

“Why would it be reacting to me” he asked

“Well it says ‘The crystal chooses you now and forever’ so I guess it has chosen you.” she said the crystal was now floating in front of Sky’s nose.

“So you are saying that it has chosen me, but why would it chose me...... I....I..”

“Sky just never mind it has chosen you but there is one more problem...... I have absolutly no idea how to use these crystals!” Just as she finished the door handle started to move. Sky grabbed the crystal and shoved it in his pocket. The door swung open and a tall man about 6 feet in height he was very muscular and looked very strong.

“Sir...” Sky said standing to attention and raising his hand to his head

“At ease 47668" He said

“I am so glad you had decided to come and visit me but why sir?” Sky asked

“I am here because I need to know why you have brought this Cave dweller here?”

“Well Master the girl was acting up so I was signing her up to work both shifts tonight without breaks and she must do as I say”

“47668 you know that the mines are closed tonight” The master said giving a glare straight at Sky

“I know sir it’s just that I was going to stand guard and make sure nothing went wrong... This way sir there will still be a crystal intake this evening.”

“Good for you I will bring to other trouble makers to join and then we’ll have some more crystals there names are ....” He pulls out a Black book and flips through a couple pages” ahh there names are Phoenix and Leigh... Leigh is a former soldier he has a lot of strength so be careful with him...Phoenix is very high tempered she can snap at any moment please be careful with them.”

“Okay sir no problem” He said but inside he thought “Now what am I going to do... I was going to escape with her tonight but now what!” He left and took rose back to work.

Later that day

“Well...Rose start working and I’ll figure out something.” he left her alone and headed to the entrance of the mine were he immediately noticed the master approaching with the two others that were to come that night. The one was tall and bulky and the other was tall but very skinny and she looked to me as if she was beat early in the day!

As they approached the master said “Sky these are the ones I was talking about please be careful they are ones to be played around with. They are extreamly strong and I want you to be careful.”

“Yes sir........” Sky declared

“There shift is over at 2 am.” The master said and then walked away. Sky lead the two people down into the mine were Rose had already started.

“Just start working with Rose” Sky said not to happy about them being there.

Soon after he had a great idea Why not escape with all of these guys. He then walked over to Rose who was already covered in dirt from head to toe. “Rose.... we’ll have to escape with the other two aswell”

“Sky that’s good because these other crystals have been reacting all day. I think these two are the others.”

“Are you sure?” Sky asked

“Yes”

Sky walked over to the other two. “You guys want to get out of here and never come back?” He asked them.

“Where will we go the whole world is like this. There is nowhere to go.” Phoenix said

“I have a place for us to go if you don’t mind coming along”

“I dunno but.... how do we get out of here?” Leigh said

“Just leave that to me” Sky said. He went up to the entrance of the mine looking for any extra guards. There wasn’t anyone there so he went back into the mine and gathered the three of them up. Then Rose tripped over loose rock and the final two crystals fell out of her pocket and floated up in front of each of the others. The red one floated in front of Phoenix and the green one was floating in front of Leigh.
