HISTORY
Accountability In Rotterdam, AIR, was founded officially on August 10, 2005 to advance an agenda promoting long-term, economic growth in the Town of Rotterdam.  Commonly referred to as "smart growth", our group embraces principles of town-wide comprehensive planning, responsible zoning designations, and more effective land use.  Embodied within those principles are objectives of responsible development and increased allocation of green space and parkland.

Key elements of our effort involve protecting, preserving, and enhancing our Quality of Life.  We hope to contribute to the Vision necessary to creating a future in the Town of Rotterdam we can all be proud of.

AIR is a spin-off of the Neighborhood Action Group (NAG).  While NAG continues to focus on water remediation efforts for Masullo Estates, AIR is concerned with broader town-wide issues of planning and accountability.
