ENGLISH FAMILY
This must have been taken at the Freeman English home. Freeman is in center with David T. English in front. On Freeman's lap are probably Ertho Stoddard English, on the right, and probably Pavil Irkson English, on the left.  The boy standing to the right of Freeman is unidentified.. Under the window is Pollyanna Fuller English with Union Vallie English to the right. The heavier set man seated with the boy and girl in front is unidentified. He is probably not an English. Nina Goins believes him to be Albert Dunn English.  The woman behind him has been identified as my great-grandmother, Laura Markle English, but my family agrees this is not her.  I believe she is the wife of the heavy-set man. Albert Dunn English is next with Azalia Thoughtful English standing and Xolaf on his lap. Standing at the far right, my family believes, is Laura Markle English, holding baby Forest. George Hoke has identifed the woman as Myrta Icefeen English Poe holding Blanche Poe.  Also she is standing directly behind Albert Dunn, making it appear as if they are a couple. Moving left from Freeman is Ernest L. English standing and Dalston Kirkwood English also standing. The seated gentleman in front of Kirk is unidentified as is the woman left of Kirk. James Reason English is seated to the left with Julia Belle on his lap. Standing left of him is Clara Edith and Adam Dunn. James Reason's wife, Marilda Miller English, is probably behind him and holding Anna Ruth. The ones peeking out the window are unidentified.
I was told by George Hoke, the author of "The Decendents Of Patrick and Anna English 1795-2000", that this man is Albert Dunn English.  I would assume that is his wife, Laura, and his children around him. The daughter would be Thoughtful, the son Xolaf and the baby Forest, I believe.
Many thanks to Nina Goins for sending pictures and info!

Photographs and Memories

Photographs and memories
Christmas cards you sent to me
All that I have are these
To remember you

Memories that come at night
Take me to another time
Back to a happier day
When I called you mine

But we sure had a good time
When we started way back when
Morning walks and bedroom talks
Oh how I loved you then

Summer skies and lullabies
Nights we couldn't say good-bye
And of all of the things that we knew
Not a dream survived

Photographs and memories
All the love you gave to me
Somehow it just can't be true
That's all I've left of you

But we sure had a good time
When we started way back when
Morning walks and bedroom talks
Oh how I loved you then
