Sweetheart Court is a fairly new organization in Illinois DeMolay. It was begun in Illinois in August of 2002 at Round Table Chapter.
The general idea of Sweetheart Court is to promote DeMolay and support the local Chapter. Members of the Court are representatives of the Chapter and support their local Chapter by helping to plan events, gain new members, and to generally encourage the Chapter's members in their endeavors.
Members of Sweetheart Courts are between the ages of twelve and twenty-one and are lead through their meetings and at events by a Sweetheart Court President.
While the Sweetheart Court members are to attend the DeMolay Chapter's events, they are also encouraged to hold their own, ranging from fund raising to fun events. |
