When Jesus and his disciples had passed over the sea, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore. And when they got out of the ship, straight away the men of that place recognized him. And they ran and sent word out into that whole country round about, and they began to carry sick people about in beds, and they brought all of the people who had diseases to the place where they heard that Jesus was. And into whatever village, city, or country he entered, they laid the sick in the streets, and they begged him to let them touch the hem of his clothing: and everyone that touched him was made perfectly well.
