There was a time when there was only one sea, when the earth was completely covered with water..Genesis 1:9,10..Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed forever..Thou coveredst it with the [tehom..sea] deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains..Psalm 104:5,6 Q. How did the waters of the sea get into all of the rivers on earth? A. There are three states of water..1) There is water in it's liquid state, which is fluid, and can be poured out, which flows, and which takes the shape of it's container..2) There is water in it's frozen state, which is solid, and which is, ice, snow, and hail..3) There is water in it's gaseous state, which is, mist, vapour, and gas. A. Heat causes liquid and frozen water to changes states..Heat causes liquid water to change into vapour, and heat causes frozen water to melt and become liquid water..Job 6:15-17 A. When liquid water changes into vapour, the vapour rises up from the [sea] earth and vanishes into the [moving air..wind..Ecclesiastes 1:6] atmosphere..Job 6:15-17 A. Cold also causes water to change states..Cold causes water vapour to freeze into ice, cold causes water vapour to change into liquid, and cold, causes liquid water to freeze into ice..Job 6:15-17 A. Condensation happens when water vapour that is held in the clouds is cooled and changes into raindrops which are then rained back down over the earth. A. Water that falls from the clouds, liquid, or frozen, is returned to the earth, during the water cycle, and the waters then commence their journey, over and through the earth on their way back to the sea. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so..And God called the dry land Earth; the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good..Genesis 1:9,10 A.
