2.06.04 - So my friend pointedly complained that my front page update was outdated. So here I am.
Although I can't think of anything captivating to say. My company is expecting to lay off about 50+ people next week. As you can imagine, we're doing the least work possible...."floating along," as it were.
As much as I enjoy goofing off all day, I actually miss having some form of direction. Even goofing off gets boring, and I begin slacking on that, too. To slack on goofing off, I end up finding work to do at my computer.
It's snowing outside, covering the forest that sits behind our office. Our walls are panels of glass, overlooking these bare trees. This morning a large brown hawk perched itself on a nearby branch. Sat there for hours. And do did we. |
