NOTES:  Deadline date = The last date a rower may opt NOT to attend and/or compete in a regatta with GDRA.  All regatta fees must be paid by the deadline date or before.  A late fee of $6.00 will be due for all fees paid after the deadline - even if you do not attend, if you did not alert the coach by the deadline.  

Regatta Fees cover a rower's transportation, food, and overnight lodging, if needed.  All rowers and parents must register their transportation and housing with the CrewBooster committee chair.     

***The Bottom Line:  Let your coach know IN WRITING that you are not able to attend a regatta and WHY by the deadline or before the deadline  Otherwise, you are obligated to pay your fee by the deadline, or pay the regatta fee + late fee after the deadline.  Rowers are encouraged to pay the total regatta fee for the season at the beginning of the season. Total Spring Season Regatta Fees = $40.00 + Oak Ridge = $100.00.  Additional overnight fee for an additional regatta, if we go to Michingan.

April 19, 2004 - Team Photo Day.  4:30pm.  Wear your uniform and/or GDRA Logo clothing.

Apr. 23 & 24, 2004 - Oak Ridge Scholastics Regatta (Overnight), Oak Ridge, TN; Fee: TBD; Deadline: April 10th  (If we don't have enough drivers, we'll rent large vans for transportation and there will be an additional fee for the rowers)

May 1, 2004 (Saturday) - Governor's Cup Regatta, Griggs Reservoir, Columbus, OH; Fee: $10.00; Deadline: April 18th

May 15 & 16, 2004 - Midwest Championships, Harsha Lake, Cincinnati, OH; Fee: $10.00; Deadline: April 28th

May 21 & 22, 2004 - Michigan HS and Junior Regatta, Rochester Hills, MI - (Overnight). Deadline: May 8th

May 25, 2004 (Tuesday after practice) - 2004 Spring Rowing Awards Banquet. 5:30pm at the First Island Park Shelter.  For rowers and their families.  Picnic-style carry-in dinner.  Please RSVP and sign up to bring salads, side dishes, and/or desserts to share (amount to feed at least 16 people).  A grilled entree, tableware, and soft drinks will be provided.  RSVP: Juniors@DaytonRowing.org or 339-5990 by May 17th. with the number of people in your family who are attending.  Bring your chairs.  See you all there!
