Herbie K's

A 1950's Style Diner

Cocoa Beach, Florida

UPDATE: It has been brought to my attention that Herbie K's is no more. Sometime in the late 90's it was torn down. I'm sorry to say that another diner has left our planet.

My Story (as found on the front of Herbie's menu)

Those of you who are snowbirds, Yankee transplants, or love fishing like I do, will understand my story. Years ago on a typical February day in the great white north, I snuck out of my very popular and busy diner to go ice fishing. All I caught was a cold. I sold the diner and moved here...Then on a not so typical April day I opened Herbie K's Diner. I still sneak out of my very popular and busy 50's diner to go fishing, but I usually catch the "catch of the day" instead of a cold.

The End

Herbie K.

Herbie did more than slap a few old pictures on the wall in his attempt to make an authentic 50's style diner. A visit to Herbie K's is an experience. The friendly staff greets you as if you have taken a step back in time...and the food is great, too! A special thanks to "Betty Boop"  (above, right) for all her help.
