Herbie K's
A 1950's Style Diner
Cocoa Beach, Florida
My Story (as found on the front of Herbie's menu)
Those of you who are snowbirds, Yankee transplants, or love fishing like I do, will understand my story. Years ago on a typical February day in the great white north, I snuck out of my very popular and busy diner to go ice fishing. All I caught was a cold. I sold the diner and moved here...Then on a not so typical April day I opened Herbie K's Diner. I still sneak out of my very popular and busy 50's diner to go fishing, but I usually catch the "catch of the day" instead of a cold.
The End
Herbie K.
Herbie did more than slap
a few old pictures on the wall in his attempt to make an authentic 50's
style diner. A visit to Herbie K's is an experience. The friendly staff
greets you as if you have taken a step back in time...and the food is great,
too! A special thanks to "Betty Boop" (above,
right) for all her help.
