Episode #11 "Redefinition"

After firing his staff and cutting himself off from all help, Angel begins intense physical and mental training to become strong enough to stop Darla and Drusilla before they destroy the City of Angels. Meanwhile, Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn try to continue the fight for the innocent on their own now that Angel's gone commando.

Episode #12 "Blood Money"


Angel threatens to expose Wolfram & Hart's criminal activities when he discovers that they are stealing large contributions that were made to a teen shelter but an old adversary has other plans for Angel.

Episode #13 "Happy Anniversary"

Angel and The Host (guest star Andy Hallett) must join forces to stop a brilliant, yet twisted physicist who is determined to stop time in order to keep his girlfriend from breaking up with him.

Wesley, Cordelia and Gunn move into their own office to carry on the detective business even though they're without Angel.
Virginia will be in this episode and will help Wesley and his co-workers get their first case.
Two demons who want to end the world help out the physicist, even though he doesn't know it.

Episode #14 "The Thin Dead Line"

Angel investigates rumors of renegade cops out for blood, while Cordelia ,Wesley and Gunn carry out their own fact-finding mission that results Wesley being seriously wounded by a police gunshot.

Angel discovers that the troublesome cops out to do more bad than good are actually zombies of cops that were previously killed on the job.

Anne reprises her role in this episode. While Angel takes on the same "cop" case as his former employees, Anne is the one who brings the case to the new investigators. Elisabeth Rohm also guest stars in this episode.

Episode #15 "Reprise"

Part 1 of two-part episode.
Angel learns of the impending visit of Wolfram & Hart's "senior partner," an evil and merciless demon from hell, and he plans a kamikaze mission to destroy the powerful beast that will sacrifice his own life in the process.
In order to get to the "senior partners" Angel need a few items, but Darla wants them as well and her intentions are far from the same.
Sam Anderson (Holland) will be a part of this episode.
Wolfram and Hart looks forward to the worst as review by the senior partners means a lot of them will loose their jobs, and their lives.
The old fang gang of Angel, Spike, Darla, and Dru is supposed to reunite in modern times.

Episode #16 "Epiphany"

Part 2 of two-part episode.
After an empty night of passion with Darla, Angel surprisingly wakes up with his soul still intact and has an epiphany. His moment of clarity brings him back to the land of the living and while he tries to reunite with his crew, Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn aren't ready to forgive him, even when their very lives are at stake.

Episode #17 "Disharmony"


Mercedes McNab brings her character, Harmony, from Sunnydale to LA. Alyson Hannigan also makes an appearance after a call from Cordelia.

Harmony wants to "fight the good fight" with the Angel Investigations team, but only Cordelia is considering the idea.

Cordelia suspects Harmony--who's staying with her--is a lesbian. She has no idea Harmony is undead until Willow clues her in on everything.

Angel and his reunited crew try to foil the plans of a vampire cult leader, but Cordelia becomes distracted when her old high school friend-turned-vampire Harmony (guest star Mercedes McNab) comes to town after her break-up with Spike and wants to help in the fight.

Episode #18 "Dead End"

Cordelia's visions are getting worse for her, and her recovery time is lengthening, leaving her friends to worry for her health.

Body parts mysteriously disappear from people and reappear in other places.

Lindsey gets a new hand...but the hand has murderous intentions. Lindsey makes an appearance at Caritas and yes, he SINGS. He's a former regular at the karaoke bar and everyone loves his voice...except Angel who mocks it mercilessly.

Angel and Lindsey are forced to team together to stop the events, but neither are keen on the idea.

Angel and Lindsey must grudgingly work together when Cordelia's disturbing vision leads the gang to a grotesque Wolfram & Hart body shop where parts are harvested from live humans.

Episode #19 "Belonging"

The host brings a case to Angel Investigations when a man-eating demon is released in his club.

Gunn services are needed by his crew and he returns to help them fight vampires.

Cordelia acting career takes a turn for the bad when she gets an job that has her clad in only a bikini.

Angel and his crew must find a way to kill a bloodthirsty demon who has arrived in town from another dimension through a mysterious, magical portal in the karaoke bar. With the help of Cordelia's visions, they are able to locate someone who can help destroy the snarly beast; however, when it's time to return their source to his home dimension, Cordelia discovers a whole new world.

Episode #20 "Over the Rainbow"

Cordelia finds herself an unwelcome pressence in another dimension, Pylea. However, humans there are treated as slaves and it's up to Angel and the rest of the crew to follow her and rescue her from a horrible life.

Pylea is the Host's original home (all this ties in with "Belonging") but he's reluctant to return.
