The Compton cinema pipe organ installed in 1935 incorporates ranks of pipes from the earlier 1929 Noterman Organ.

During the great hurricane of 1987 the organ was severely damaged when the chamber roof was torn off allowing water to cascade over the pipes and chests rendering it unplayable.

Over the years the society has refurbished the organ and the console now controlls 16 of the original 19 ranks of pipes making it one of the largest theatre organs in the country.
