
The Compton Cinema Organ ( two manual, six
ranks ) is still in situ but in very poor condition, un -
playable, discarded & desolate.
The three phase cable to the organ has been cut
off & keyboard has been damaged.
The console can be viewed in the auditorium on
the " London Open House " days.
Following the latest London Open House event many favourable comments were made about the possibility of renovating the Compton.
The organ was opened by T. Walker.
The building has been granted a Grade II
listing.

The architect was E. Norman Bailey, based in
Maidenhead.
His design was for Abrahams Consolidated.
