How do you pay for Choir Expenses? |

Hard work, Hard Practice, Lots of Prayer Partner support, and each member pays their own expenses if possible. Fund raising projects, help fund Shalom projects and help members who need assistance to go on the tour. These are ongoing all year. Projects: aluminum recycling, garage sale, fish/chicken/tenderloin dinner, chocolate sales, and calendar sales. In our hometown, Fort Wayne, Indiana, congregations pay a fee for a concert. On the road in the USA, the concert offering is given to the sponsoring group for a Shalom project of their choosing such as: a battered women shelter in St. Louis, MO, a local food pantry, and another was for a Bible School in Ecuador.
We are called "The Musical Arm of the Fort Wayne Associated Churches" and as such, they help us buy our music. We also have membership dues. Area Bell Choirs helped us raise money to buy hand bells for Caputh bei Pottsdam in the former East Germany. We delivered them and tought them to ring, a year before the Berlin Wall went down. They played at "German Unification Ceremonies."
Area churches also have helped us with projects to provide several portable communion -baptistry tables to two prisons in Michigan. They helped us provide choir robes and music for the prison choirs and meditation materials also.
When you have a mission from God and do your part, God does his part! |

The Peace Bell Choir of Caputh seen here learning to ring for the first time. This group played for the unification of Germany ceremony in Pottsdam where both Presidents were present. They have toured USA several times and around Germany. They have their own Peace Mission!
